Fitzgerald won 13 total GRAMMYs during her illustrious musical career, taking home her first two golden gramophones at the inaugural GRAMMY Awards in 1959. The first woman to be honored with the Recording Academy's Special Merit Award in 1967, she also has nine recordings in the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame.
